Dr. Susanne H. Thompson, Ed.D. is President of Moreland University within the Teacher Education Ecosystem at the Colibri Group. With more than 35 years in K-12 education, higher education, and EdTech, she has held leadership roles as a school superintendent and as an executive at Discovery Education. In 2022, she was named one of the 鈥淢ost Inspiring Women in Business鈥� by Aspioneer Magazine. A frequent presenter and keynote speaker, her career highlights include addressing the launch of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank in Cairo, serving as keynote for Ireland鈥檚 National Digital Week, and presenting at national education conferences in the U.S. and abroad. At Moreland, she focuses on solving teacher recruitment and retention challenges while championing the profession she is deeply passionate about.
