Dr. Williams is a seasoned educator with over 25 years of experience across a wide range of leadership roles in public education and the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as superintendent of the Rock Island-Milan School District—one of Illinois’ most diverse—she brings a deep commitment to equity and excellence. A Fulbright Scholar and national presenter, she has shared her expertise in school improvement and international education across the globe. Dr. Williams began her career as a social worker and continues to use her leadership to address systemic barriers and close opportunity gaps for all students.
