Morcease J. Beasley Ed.D.
Dr. Morcease Beasley is the CEO and President of High-Performance Educational Services/Equity in Education, where he leads efforts to drive excellence, equity, and innovation in K-12 education. A seasoned leader and strategist, Dr. Beasley is dedicated to empowering school districts, educators, and students to achieve high performance and equitable outcomes
Prior to this role, Dr. Beasley served as Superintendent of Schools for Clayton County Public Schools, one of the top 100 largest school districts in the nation and the fifth largest school system in the state of Georgia with over 54,000 diverse students, 7,300 employees, and 65 learning sites and educational programs. Prior to his appointment as Superintendent, he served as Clayton County Public Schools鈥� (CCPS) Chief School Improvement Officer. Dr. Beasley led the district for almost 6 years, including through the pandemic, with it experiencing improvements in its graduation rate, academic achievement, advanced placement, dual enrollment, school choice, employee morale, parent engagement, early learning, and other areas.
Dr. Beasley has almost 30 years of dedicated service and is nationally known as an innovative leader and instructor with many organizations recognizing him over career. He has held numerous positions at every level of public school education beginning as a high school Mathematics teacher; assistant principal; high school principal; Executive Director for Curriculum, Instruction, Professional Learning and Federal Programs. He also held the position as Deputy Superintendent for Teaching and Learning; Deputy Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction and School Leadership. Dr. Beasley is considered by many as a transformational educator and instructional leader with proven success in both large urban and suburban school districts in Alabama, Georgia, and Texas.
Dr. Beasley holds a Doctorate from Samford University and has completed the Public Educational Leadership Program at Harvard University.
