Leanne Garcia is the Executive Director of Leadership in Las Cruces, New Mexico, bringing over 30 years of experience in education. For the past four years, she has served as a principal supervisor, supporting school leaders in building strong instructional systems and creating thriving school cultures.

Before her work in Las Cruces, Leanne served as an assistant principal, principal, and district administrator in Durango, Colorado. Throughout her career, she has remained deeply committed to teaching and learning, with a strong focus on empowering educators to be their very best so that students can experience meaningful, joyful, and equitable learning every day.

Leanne is particularly passionate about standards-based learning, recognizing it as a critical foundation for equitable instruction and high-quality student outcomes. Her leadership is rooted in a belief that when teachers and principals are well-supported, students are more likely to succeed and thrive.
