Adam Leckie

Superintendent, Casa Grande Elementary School District (Ariz.)

Dr. Adam Leckie currently serves as the superintendent of the Casa Grande Elementary School District in Casa Grande, Arizona. In his over 18 years in education he has held the roles of assistant superintendent, director of special education, master teacher, and special education teacher and has worked in several Arizona School Districts. He is the previous president of the Arizona Council of Administrators of Special Education and served on the Executive Committee of the National Council of Administrators of Special Education.

He was awarded the Arizona School Administrators Distinguished Administrator of the Year Award in 2019 and the BET-C Director’s Award for PBIS also in 2019. He has authored publications including Lucky 21: A General Education Teacher’s Guide to Special Education, and several journal articles on special education and leadership. In addition to his publications he has presented at many conferences and trainings on a range of educational topics including leadership, special education, and district administration. He resides in Arizona with his wife who is also an educator.
